A mission statement from SALT collective, who will be curating TEA AND CAKE at JUNCTION:
We are SALT, a publication created by a group of students at Chelsea, which focuses on exchanging ideas and displaying artworks in an alternative context. We aim to provoke discussion and provide a forum in which it can occur. Our publication is cheaply made and lo-fi in nature, which makes it free to distribute. Check out our (out of date) blog at: www.saltchelsea.com
We aim to produce an issue of our publication to be distributed at Jake Caleb’s ‘Adorno’s Pornos’ stall in Junction this September, for which we would like to invite you to contribute. For this issue we are looking for things which relate to the work you have in the Junction show, aiming to produce discussion rather than ‘explain’ your work: influential pieces of writing, images, artworks, anything at all that you would like to share.
